Anna Bernasconi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano. She earned a PhD in 2021 with a thesis on building integrated repositories of genomic data and implementing search strategies on their content. Her research areas are Bioinformatics, Databases, and Data Science, in the context of life sciences and other applied sciences domains. She has been Principal Investigator of two projects (SENSIBLE PRIN PNRR 2022 and NGI Search TETYS), WP leader in an ERC AdG on data-driven genomic computing, Task leader in a Horizon Europe project on federated learning. She is a co-organizer of several workshops (CMLS@ER, WALS@ICWE, and iSAILS@CAiSE), an academic editor in Scientific Data, Plos One, BMC Bioinf., and Editorial Review Board Member of ACM JDIQ.

Stefania Dumbrava is an Associate Professor at ENSIIE and at Télécom SudParis, in France. She holds a PhD from Paris-Saclay University in formally verifying data-centric specifications. She is interested in graph databases and the reliability of data-centric languages, algorithms, and systems. She is the PI of a national project on trustworthy distributed graph processing and has participated in a national project on certifying data integration algorithms, in the COST European Research Network on Formal Proofs, and the Linked Data Benchmark Council. She co-received a SIGMOD Best Industrial Paper Award in 2023, a VLDB Best Regular Paper Runner-Up Award, and a SIGMOD Research Highlight Award in 2022. She co-organized the VLDB 2024 Summer School and is a regular reviewer and PC member for premier conferences and journals, i.e., EDBT, VLDB, SIGMOD, ICDE, CIKM, WWW, VLDBJ, and TGDK.

Riccardo Tommasini is an Associate Professor at the LIRIS Lab, INSA Lyon. Riccardo earned a PhD in 2020 with a thesis titled “Velocity on The Web” from the Department of Electronics and Informatics of the Politecnico di Milano. His research interests span Data Management, streaming in the context of a JCJC project financed by ANR (France’s national research agency), Knowledge Graphs and Graph Databases, Logical Reasoning, and Programming Languages. These interests recently converged into a book named “Streaming Linked Data”. Riccardo’s research has received awards and international recognition, such as the Best Paper Award at DEBS, ESWC, and Caise. Riccardo’s tutorial activities include several international academic venues. He regularly reviews many premier conferences and journals, such as ISWC, ESWC, WWW, VLDB, SIGMOD, ICDE, SWJ, and TGDK. He recently co-organized the 18th edition of the Distributed and Event-Based Systems International conference.
